The Beach House...

Enjoy your morning coffee on your private patio as the sun rises over British Columbia's mainland mountains, and the ridges of the Discovery Islands.

This channel of water immediately in front of the Beach House is located between Vancouver Island and the lighthouse on Quadra Island. It is a very active marine waterway and offers fantastic viewing of working tugs & barges, private sailboats, and huge cruise ships. The swift current creates rich marine life and these edible critters attract eagles, seals, porpoises, and occasional orcas in for a feed. All this can be seen from the inside of the suite, or beside a bonfire on the beach.

This Beach House offers luxury! Turn on the gas fireplace, recline on the Queen sized posturepedic bed with your complimentary bottle of wine and from the cosy protection of a down duvet and fine linens, watch a southern storm blow the waves up onto the beach. After a hard day of recreating, enjoy a hot bath or shower in the modern bathroom. There is comfortable furniture to lounge inside the sliding glass doors, and satellite television and DVD player to enjoy.

The kitchenette is equipped for preparing light meals with a toaster oven, BBQ, microwave, kettle and coffee maker. There is a fridge and freezer for storing groceries. Laundry facilities may be available upon request, please ask. Stay in touch with friends and family through the wireless Internet connection and cell phone reception.

It’s hard to believe that all the amenities of downtown Campbell River are only a short bike ride away along the Oceanside bike and walking path. The location is ideal for longer term work contracts as well as a relaxing holiday for several nights.

Besides all the outdoor activities at your doorstep, Campbell River is a springboard for further exploring the wilderness areas of Vancouver Island. Mount Washington is only 30 minutes south on the inland highway, Gold River and the outstanding west coast of Vancouver Island only 45 minutes, and Strathcona Park only 30 minutes. Come play!
